CloudConnexa: How to Resolve "Relaystate Validation Failed" Error Using with Google Workspace as Idp

Description: This procedure explains how to update the RelayState value in Google Workspace when using it as the identity provider (IdP) for CloudConnexa. Updating the RelayState value can resolve the following error:

RelayState validation failed
 

Procedure

1. Open Google Chrome and verify that the SAML Developer Tools extension is installed: ( installer link ).
2. Access your CloudConnexa Cloud ID: https://<your-cloud-id>.openvpn.com.
3. Open the browser developer tools:
   • Press F12 or
   • Press Ctrl+Shift+I
4. Select the SAML tab.
5. Sign in to CloudConnexa and capture the RelayState value from the SAML request. Example:
   
6. Copy the RelayState value.
7. Go to https://www.urldecoder.org/.

8. Paste the RelayState value and select Decode:

   

9. Sign in to the Google Workspace admin portal.
10. Update the RelayState value in your SAML application configuration:
11. Select Save.
12. Sign out of the Google Workspace portal, then sign back in.
13. Test the SAML configuration again.
