Description: There is a known issue on Windows 11 where the user isn't redirected to the browser for authentication.
The native browser doesn't open when clicking Sign In for this authentication message:
Clicking Sign In doesn't yield any results either.
Solutions:
- Ensure Windows 11 is up to date.
- Adjust the default browser in settings:
- Select Start > Settings > Apps > Default apps.
- Select your preferred browser (Edge, Chrome, Brave, Firefox, etc.).
- Click Set default.
- Adjust the default browser for HTTPS link types:
- Select Start > Settings > Apps > Default Apps.
- Under Set default file types or link types, find HTTPS and assign your preferred browser as the app to open HTTPS link types.
