CloudConnexa: Configure a Google group for SAML access

Description: Use this procedure to control which Google group members can authenticate with CloudConnexa using SAML. After completing these steps, only members of the selected Google group can access the SAML application and authenticate with CloudConnexa.

Step 1: Restrict access to the SAML application

1. In the Google eAdmin console, select your CloudConnexa SAML application.
2. Open User Access.
   
3.  Under Service Status, select Off for everyone.
4. Select Save.
   
5. Return to Apps and verify that the service status is Off for everyone.
   

Step 2: Enable access for the Google group

1. Open User Access again.
2. Select the Google group you want to allow.
3. Set Service Status to On.
   
4. Select Save.
5. Verify that the Service Status is On for the selected group.
   

Step 3: Test the configuration

1. Connect a remote device to CloudConnexa.
2. Authenticate using Google as the identity provider (IdP).
3. Verify that a user in the selected Google group can authenticate and connect.
4. Verify that a user who doesn't belong to the selected Google group can't access the SAML application and authenticate with CloudConnexa.
