Description:
This is to address Overlapping CIDR by using domain-routing without creating DNS records or using a DNS server. Please see below the sample scenario and setup;
[Site-A]
Overlapping Subnet: 192.168.10.0/24
Server: Machine1 - 192.168.10.50
Domain : sitea.local
[Site-B]
Overlapping Subnet: 192.168.10.0/24
Server: Machine2 - 192.168.10.50
Domain : siteb.local
[Configuration in CloudConnexa]
Prerequisites: Network Connector should be already configured and deployed on both sites.
1. Navigate to CloudConnexa Portal>Network. Select SiteA network.
Add domain "sitea.local" as sample below; Ensure "Allow Embedded IP" is set to On and subnet 192.168.10.0/24 is Not defined under the Subnet section.
2. Navigate to CloudConnexa Portal>Network. Select SiteB network.
Add domain "siteb.local" as sample below; Ensure "Allow Embedded IP" is set to On and subnet 192.168.10.0/24 is Not defined under the Subnet section.
[Test and verification]
1. Connect the remote laptop to CloudConnexa.
2. Access Machine1 located in SiteA network in format of 192-168-10-50.sitea.local
3. Access Machine2 located in SiteB network in format of 192-168-10-50.siteb.local
