Description: The customer would like the connected WPC User and Host Connector to Egress through their DigitalOcean Network Connector to the public internet.
Resolution: Make sure you have deployed the Network Connector and from your CloudConnexa Portal, and enabled the Egress to On.
Step 1:
From your CloudConnexa Portal > Networks > select the created Networks > Edit > Toggle Internet Gateway to On > Save
Note: When the 1st Network is set to Internet Gateway, the Admin can then select User Group and Host. If there are already Internet Gateways created, the Admin will need to change Internet Access to Split Tunnel Off as shown in step 2 and step 3.
Step 2:
From your CloudConnexa Portal > Users > Groups > select the Group where the user belongs > Edit > Internet Access Split Tunnel Off > Update
Step 3:
From your deployed Host Connector, change the Internet Access from default Split Tunnel On to Off
From your CloudConnexa Portal > Hosts > select the created Hosts > Edit > Internet Access Split Tunnel Off > Update
Step 4:
From your connected WPC User, test the traceroute that should be exited from your CloudConnexa Networks.
tracert -d IP
Check the Public IP from the website ipchicken.com. The IP should reflect the Public IP of the Network Connector.
Perform the same test from your Host connector.
