You can run OpenVPN Connect on ChromeOS using the Android app available on Google Play. While we don’t provide native support, we run the Android app on ChromeOS and are fixing bugs or have workarounds.
How can I use OpenVPN Connect on ChromeOS?
Install the Android app from the Play store. Refer to the OpenVPN Connect client page if needed.
Why can’t I share OpenVPN Connect logs?
This is a known issue. The application doesn’t show sharing options, such as email, save to file, or upload to drive, for the log files.
Why does OpenVPN Connect on ChromeOS always check the download file for importing?
This is a known issue. The application always opens the Download folder for importing files. Workaround: You can manually change to the file location desired.
Why can’t I hit ‘Enter’ after filling in text fields?
This is a known issue. The ‘Enter’ button doesn’t work as a ‘Next’ button when filling text fields. Workaround: Click on Next.
