Description:
This guide shows you how to use the Windows Import Wizard to add a PKCS 12 certificate to a connection profile in OpenVPN Connect.
Alternatively, you can import the certificate using the CLI (command-line interface) functionality. Refer to details on Command Line Functionality for OpenVPN Connect.
Before you begin
Ensure you have the following already:
- OpenVPN Connect installed.
- A connection profile uploaded to Connect with an external PKI.

- Select the Current User option and click Next.

- Select OpenVPN Certificate Store, click OK, then click through to finish the Import Wizard.
- You've imported the certificate.
- Launch OpenVPN Connect.
