Access Server: Will there be a disruption when switching from license keys to a subscription?

No, you will not encounter any delays or disruptions when you switch from a fixed license key to a subscription. Your Access Server will remain licensed during the transition to our subscription licensing model. We thoroughly tested connections on an actively used Access Server licensed with fixed license keys and transitioned it to a subscription without loss of service or connection to VPN users. However, to be safe, we still advise planning a maintenance window when doing such a licensing switch on a critical server system.

When you switch to our subscription model you will be provided a time frame of when your current fixed license keys will expire. Once you receive a confirmation of your subscription key it will be your responsibility to ensure that you activate your new Access Server subscription key before the fixed license key expires.
