This is a guide to UNINSTALL Access Server from a Linux Server.
Before you begin
Ensure you create a backup first. To back up your configuration:
- Refer to How to back up Access Server configuration and follow those steps.
If you have a fixed license key, review the steps on how to transfer that key:
To uninstall Access Server
For Debian or Ubuntu
Remove openvpn-as by running this command with root privileges:
apt remove openvpn-as openvpn-as-bundled-clients
If that fails, try these commands:
dpkg -r openvpn-as-bundled-clients
dpkg -r openvpn-as
For Red Hat or CentOS or Amazon2Linux
Remove openvpn-as by running this command with root privileges:
yum remove openvpn-as openvpn-as-bundled-clients
If that fails, try these commands:
rpm -e openvpn-as-bundled-clients
rpm -e openvpn-as
